Chapter 4: Personal loan offered by CIMB Bank



CIMB BANK BERHAD

The following are the personal loan schemes offered by CIMB Bank Berhad.

A.    CIMB ISLAMIC Xpress Cash Financing-i

1.      Total finance: RM3000 – RM 50 000

2.      Finance period: 12 – 60 months

3.      Annual profit rate: 18% p.a – 24% p.a

4.      Salary eligibility: Gross salary RM 800 per month or RM 9600 per year

5.      Eligibility requirements:

Ø  General requirements

·         Malaysian

·         Aged 21 to 60 years.

·         Minimum income of RM800 (Gross Salary) per month and above or RM9,600 (Gross Salary) per year and above.

·         Not blacklisted by any Financial Institution in Malaysia.

·         No Accounts Under Special Observation (SAA).

Ø  For private employees

·         Worked more than 6 months with the same employer.

·         Have an EPF Contribution or if there is no salary contribution, the employer must deposit it in the bank.

Ø  For business/self -employment

·         The business owner is a Malaysian citizen aged 21 and above

·         Business period is more than 1 year.

·         The business is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

·         Have a company bank account.

6.      Required documents:

Ø  For salaried work (salary is paid to the bank):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 3 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest 3 months bank statement.

·         Latest EPF statement (minimum 6 months deduction).

 

Ø  For salaried work (salary is paid in cash):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 6 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest EPF statement (minimum 6 months deduction).

 

Ø  For salaried work (no EPF deduction):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 6 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest 6 months bank statement.

 

Ø  For self -employment:

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Copy of company registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia - Form ROC & ROB.

·         Latest 6 months company bank account statement.

·         Form BE/E and tax payment.

7.      Charges imposed:

·         Stamp duty charge of 0.5%

·         Late payment charge of 1% of the loan balance

B.     CIMB Cash Plus

1.      Total finance: RM 2000 – RM 10 000

2.      Finance period: 24 – 84 months

3.      Annual interest rate: 6.88% p.a – 16.88% p.a

4.      Salary eligibility: Gross salary RM 2000 per month or RM 2400 per year

5.      Eligibility requirements:

Ø  General requirements:

·         Malaysian.

·         Aged 21 to 58 years.

·         Monthly income of RM2,000 and above or annual income of RM24,000 and above.

·         Not blacklisted by any Financial Institution in Malaysia.

·         There are no Accounts Under Special Observation (SAA) in the CCRIS credit report

 

Ø  For private employees:

·         Worked more than 6 months with the same employer.

·         Have an EPF Contribution or if there is no salary contribution, the employer must deposit it in the bank.

 

Ø  For business/self -employment

·         The business is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) for at least 1 year minimum.

·         Have a company bank account.

 

6.      Required documents:

Ø  For salaried work (salary is paid to the bank):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 3 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest 3 months bank statement.

·         Latest EPF statement (minimum 6 months deduction).

 

 

Ø  For salaried work (salary is paid in cash):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 6 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest EPF statement (minimum 6 months deduction).

 

Ø  For salaried work (no EPF deduction):

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Latest 6 months salary slip statement.

·         Latest 6 months bank statement.

 

Ø  For self -employment:

·         Copy of front & back identity card.

·         Copy of company registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia - Form ROC & ROB.

·         Latest 6 months company bank account statement.

·         Form BE/E and tax payment receipt.

7.      Charges imposed:

·         a stamp duty charge of 0.5% of the loan amount applied for

  • Late payment charge of 1% of the loan balance
